How You Can Help
Although we derive some income from student and private group
fees, we mainly depend on the generosity of our supporters to cover
the cost of managing the reserve and operating our educational
programs.
We believe O2 For Life’s efforts contribute to
the worldwide initiative to save and protect rainforest habitats.
We also believe that the field trip experience at the reserve is
transformative for the students. They leave the Osa with a changed
sense of themselves in relation to the natural world and an awakened
interest in conservation issues.
By working together, we will make a difference.

Question: Why O2 For Life ? Why give to O2 For Life in Costa Rica ?
Alvaro Ugalde: Well, you can give to any organization. O2 For Life happens to be a great example. It happens to be something tangible. There’s people, there is forest, there is activity, there is education.
So I think O2 For Life is a great opportunity for the people of the United States to help. I am not saying it is the only one, but it’s a great one. It’s fun, it’s fun people, motivated people and they have a beautiful reserve in Costa Rica.
